Graduate Students

Dr. Lorenzo will not be accepting a graduate student into the PATHS Lab in the 2024 application cycle to start in the fall of 2025.

Students interested in addressing questions in the developmental unfolding of psychopathology, with a focus on early (infancy through preschool) parent-child interactions and refining and personalizing parenting interventions for marginalized populations will best fit the scope of ongoing and future studies in the lab. Dr. Lorenzo specifically encourages applications from individuals from under-represented groups, and those who are fluent Spanish-speakers to apply. I review applications holistically, bearing the fact that there are many systemic barriers for applicants from marginalized racial, ethnic, and low-income backgrounds. I encourage applicants to highlight their strengths in all parts of the application where possible.
